File sharing and Celestial Intervention
p2pnet.net News:- They say the Lord works in strange and mysterious ways and with that in mind, Sweden has dropped charges against Ivar Wenster, head of culture in the southern Swedish city of Karlskrona who admits he’s downloaded music.
What has that to do with Wenster and Heavenly Powers?
When lightning struck his home this summer, “it destroyed his computer, which held the technical evidence required by the prosecutor,” says The Local.
Consequently, the charges against him have been dropped and, “The police actually laughed when I told them,” Wenster told the The Local.
“It is of course a personal tragedy when your computer is burnt out. And it wasn’t just my computer; it was my children’s and wife’s too”.
Does he believe his PC was struck by lightning as a punishment? Apparently not ;p
Moreover, says the story, “Despite what has happened, Wenster is determined to keep file sharing on the agenda.”
