Pirate Bay hits the Cat Walk
p2pnet.net News:- “The Pirate Bay and WeSC (WeAretheSuperlativeConspiracy) today announces a co-operation,” says TPB in its blog, going on, “WeSC chose to distribute it’s new documentary freely using The Pirate Bays tracker.”
The movie is downloadable at http://thepiratebay.org/user/WeSC, it says.
WeSC? A, “a tightly knit group of people with a solid background in clothing, skateboarding and snowboarding,” it says in its web site, adding, “We is neither a skateboard nor a snowboard clothing company; WESC is an street fashion company with its roots in skateboarding.”
What’s that got to do with p2p, file sharing, and so on?
Nada. But it has everything to do with $ and, “TPB just love that they take the next step for a big business by using the net to distribute stuff!”
0089 posts, “Hardly the first company using bittorrent to distribute stuff. This just reaks advertizing ploy.”
Hardly. But better that than some phony Google AdSense advertiser trying to pretend it’s THE file sharing company with millions of free downloads.
