Mozilla eyes Firefox 3
p2pnet.net News:- Still appealing to users to lend a hand in testing the Firefox RC3 candidate, which’ll be the last before Firefox 2.0 is turned loose, Mozilla already has its eye on Firefox 3.
In a special Firefox 3 Wiki, Mozilla says it plans to collect for ideas for feature enhancements in a single place.
“Our goal is to create a single index that lists what sorts of things we’re thinking of doing, with links to more detailed ideas about implementation specifics or concerns, and targets for inclusion in the project,” it says.
And, “This is a list of feature enhancement ideas for all future Firefox releases, not just Firefox 3,” it emphasizes. “Firefox 3 will include a subset of the items on this list.”
Meanwhile, you’ll find the Firefox 2.0 RC3 candidate build here and, “As always, hammer on this build and do all the usual things you in your daily browsing,” says Mozilla, adding:
“Please report issues here on this blog or in Bugzilla. Please perform a query for your issue before filing a new bug in Bugzilla (also good to go the Bugzilla Home Page and view the list of ‘Bugs Filed Today’.”
