Sony PS3 loves Yellow Dog
p2pnet.net News:- ” ‘If YDL v5.0 were a race car, it might be described as having ‘… controls right where I want them … stable and well balanced. After the first lap around the track, an impulse to do something –dangerous’.”
The ad copy is on the Terra Soft site and it refers to Yellow Dog Linux which, as Engadget points out, confirms Sony’s interest in both OS X and Linux.
“YDL v5.0 is slated for release mid-November with support for the Sony PS3 first, and support for the former Apple PowerPC product line to follow,” says Terra Soft.
“Any updates required to support the Apple PowerPC systems following the release for PS3 will be made available via a free download.
