p2pnet.net News:- To the disgust of Bill and the Boyz, Firefox 2 is coming your way tomorrow.

Microsoft has already released Internet Explorer 7, but the reaction has largely been a big yawn.

We have IE 6 available for purely academic purposes, and that seems to be the attitude of an increasing number of people who’ve decided the fact Firefox is open-source, runs happily on Windows, Apple and Linux and isn’t Microsoft, is good enough for them.

And Microsoft IE7, which’ll be thrust upon you next month, will ‘validate’ your Windowss system while it installs.

Firefox now has somewhere between 11% and 15% of the browser market share, depending on who’s doing the counting.
