b3ta.com Virgin Money ads
p2pnet.net News:- Britain’s b3ta.com is all about bad jokes. Really bad, really rude jokes.
So Virgin’s billionaire founder, Richard Branson, thought it’d be cool to get b3ta.com to work up a series of ads for his Virgin Money credit cards —– Xbox 360s and PSPs for the winners.
Considering ad agencies would have charged an and a leg for for the same thing, it would have been cheap at the price and trendy, thought the Virgin ad people.
And think of all the viral marketing !!!!!
So what did Branson get?
A whole slew of really bad, really rude submissions.
“virgin on the ridiculous,” posts b3ta.com’s Rob Manuel.
* Yep, they pulled the challenge
* Yep, they were told before they opened it exactly how it would play out
* Yep, they asked us to delete it
* Yep, I think think the whole thing is funny
And Branson got it for free.
