Music Industry MAFIA

p2pnet.net News:- One thing you have to say for the RIAA and its masters, the Big Five record labels: they’ve inspired a lot of people – writers, musicians, film-makers – to get creative.

It’s a shame the impetus hasn’t come from a desire to praise the music industry enforcement organ for its clever innovations and sterling work in promoting the audio arts.

Sterling work? And Innovations? Nada except, perhaps, using North America’s legal system to try to sue people into buying Big Music ‘product’.

Rather, the RIAA, the labels and their cookie-cutter performers have sickened so many people, so many times, that a thriving media industry has sprung up – web pages, blogs, songs, writes. And they’re all devoted to exposing the Big Five record labels’ flagrant lies.

One of the latest efforts is a 37mb .avi Divx film by Rick Fulkerson in Coos Bay, Oregon. The owner of a small computer store in Reedsport, just north of Coos Bay, he’s produced a biting commentary on the state of the universe as the labels (don’t) understand it.

Called The Music Industry MAFIA, it features Cary Sue Sherman and the Five Familes, with appropriate mentions of the RIAA Don, Mitch ‘Pirate’ Bainwol.

Fulkerson has clipped segments from WKRP In Cincinnati, the Three Stooges, the Flintstone Movie (Watch it Rick – the MPAA will have your gluteous maximus : ) and other a lot of other shows, added a voice-over, and hit the nail right on the head.

Go to DownhillBattle here for a BitTorrent file.

If you’re not into, or don’t know about, BitTorrent, p2pnet has the .avi file here.

Meanwhile, p2pnet and DownhillBattle are combining to bring you some of the videos People Pissed Off by the RIAA are coming out with.

Could Music Industry MAFIA be the first entry?

Watch this space. We’ll get back to you with more details soon.

Is their a way you could make this file Music IND Mafia downloadable for windows media or some kind of a stream type File??????

  2. Reader's Write Says:

yes, the download works good. you have to have the divx codec in order to play it. without the codec you’ll just get audio. the download or stream will take a few minutes as it’s a 37mb file.
