But the question is – Or else what?

ChooseAndWatch says it’s a, “a free TV portal where you can watch only the best online TV channels”.

And that’s why it caught Hollywood’s rheumy eye.

Thus, last Friday, “we were contacted by MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America),” says the site, going on:

They want to shut us down, because according to them we are distributing copyright material without authors’ permission (probably because of payable adult TV channels like Playboy TVs). They gave us 72h to shut down this website before they take legal action against us. However we do not agree with them, since we are only linking to channels and not streaming them from our servers. Since when is linking illegal?

The deadline has come and gone and now ChooseAndWatch is wondering what’s coming next.

72h deadline has passes – nothing happened – many things in this story (MPAA vs. C&W) don’t make sense.

We start to believe that we were not really contacted by MPAA, but by some people that were pretending to be something they are not in order to try to shut down this website.

Are they jealous, afraid of competition or just some geeks with too much time?
