Cohen leaves OSDL
p2pnet.net News:- Stuart Cohen (right), ceo of the non-profit Linux development consortium Open Source Development Labs, has quit, and staff jobs have been slashed in the US and Asia by from 28 to 19.
Taking over is Mike Temple, former OSDL chief financial officer, says Computerworld. He’ll become the chief operating officer.
“When OSDL was founded in 2000, one of its main tasks was to evangelize Linux and encourage vendor and user deployments through the provision of computing and test facilities to developers around the world,” says the story.
“Since the open-source operating system is now firmly established as a major technology, the consortium, which has more than 70 global members, feels it’s time to shift the focus of its resources.”

Are you sure Stuart Cohen left the Linux project? I’m only asking because last time you reported a Cohen leaving a company, it turned out to be a farce.
