$3 million for a url
p2pnet.net News:- Billionaire entrepreneur Roustam Tariko no doubt proposed drinks all around after paying $3 million to an undisclosed seller for a domain name.
Tariko is Russia’s biggest vodka maker and he forked out the money for vodka.com as, "part of a bid to expand into the U.S. market," says CNET News.
Vodka.com’s price tag is among the highest ever revealed for a generic Web domain, says the story, adding:
"In May, diamond.com reportedly sold for $7.5 million to jewelry retailer Ice.com. Business.com sold for $7.5 million in 1999."
