First ‘optical joystick’ Phone
p2pnet.net News:- Samsung says it’s come up with the world’s first ‘optical joystick’ mobile phone with 360-degree movement.
With the SCH-V960, “you should be able to navigate faster around the phone’s functions,” says TechDigest.
“To use the optical joystick, you place your finger on the phone, then as you move it, the cursor, using optical sensors, scrolls around in similar fashion to a PC mouse.”
Users point the cursor and click directly on icons on MyScreen, a, “similar interface to that on a PC environment,” and gain direct access to frequently used menus such as photo album, messaging, and music menu, says Samsung.
“Users can also use the Optical Joystick to easily scroll through the play list while listening to their music,” it states.
