Who really cares? BitTorrent, Inc. != BitTorrent the protocol.

BitTorrent the protocol is open so at the worst you just need to make sure that you don’t use newer versions of BitTorrent mainline client or utorrent.

Ah, the old spirit of UUEncoded stuff…

Better if Usenet (or FidoNet, or the concept of distributed conferences in general) could be revived to replace web forums – its immunity to “URGENT TAKEDOWN REQUESTs” and “CEASE-AND-DESIST NOTICEs”, coupled with a greater freedom in the user interface department, are big winning points.
