"However, in the case of the Wii, it would be impossible to play Wii titles on the PC because of the unique control required by those games."

You think?

Unlike the music and movie markets, video games (excluding retro systems and games) are largely unaffected by piracy. This is mostly because some systems check information on the disc that cannot be copied onto another DVD, encrypt the disc in a manner other than using CSS, or use a proprietary file system or file format. In addition, emulators for sixth and seventh generation games would not be able to play titles at native speed because the specifications for those consoles are too high for their host systems. It would also be difficult to control these games, although USB adapters for console controllers do exist. However, in the case of the Wii, it would be impossible to play Wii titles on the PC because of the unique control required by those games.
