Want to work for Big Music?
p2pnet.net News:- Looking for a job?
How about a little stirring and spinning for the Big 4 Organized Music cartel’s IFPI (International Federation of Phonographic Industry)?
It wants a legal adviser to, “develop and co-ordinate IFPI’s public policy positions for improving the legislative and treaty framework under which record producers operate worldwide”.
Applicants, “must have gained significant expertise in the area of copyright either through relevant work in the creative sector, through academic work, or through work with (preferably international) public institutions. Additional expertise in the area of new technologies, other areas of intellectual property, and international public law is advantageous.”
Not only but also, “applicants should have excellent written and oral command of English,” says the IFPI, which (by way of example, no doubt) declares in its published request, “Applicants must be a fully qualified lawyer”.
