As part of a generation that was brought up to share and share alike, I really didn't think I'd see the day when it became 'double-ungood'.

"Jordan should be commended." He should be. Good stuff.

I see Ars Technica and The Associated Press have picked this up and its story is all over the pace though neither of them say where it came from.

It's hard not to be anti-corporation when you see abuses such that the RIAA and MPAA are taking on behalf of their corporate sponsors. However, corporations are the backbone of the technological infrastructure and America.

Not all corporations are unethical and caring only for the bottom line, some are models that others should aspire to.

Jordan should be commended. His arguments read like a summary of all the points that have been brought up about these RIAA lawsuits over the years. Bobby has one hell of a lawyer.

I wish him luck, but don't think much of his chances. It seems like whenever there is a civil case where a huge corporation is the plaintiff and the defendent is not rich the U.S. judicial system seems to give a huge amount of leeway to the corporation, while treating the accused with all the respect a bootheel has for an insect.

It is too bad those living in what used to be the free country has now been made to face the oppression of a huge corporation making false claims of theft just to increases there bottom line. How do we hold ourselves up as better then the rest of the world when we ourselves have adopted a court system which permits false claims to be brought. The lives of people, families and there finances destroyed is very clearly oppression, American style. All people need to remember this when they are on Juries, when they witness acts done by corporations that corporations have a very ugly side when it comes to suing the public.
