Beta AnyDVD for HD DVD
p2pnet.net news:- “Wooow! I think I just found the Volume ID of King Kong,” posted Arnezami on Doom9’s Forum on February 5.
Put another way, goodbye HD-DVD and Blu-Ray DRM (Digital Restrictions Management) consumer control.
And, “We are currently working AnyDVD HD, and it will be an awsome product!” – posted SlySoft’s James on the company forum on January 28, going on:
“I have an early Alpha Version, and it decrypts any HD DVD disc I have tried. Even better, the first version will probably have a working ‘Remove annoying trailers…’ function. Adios, FBI warning. And the 20 second Universal ‘HD-DVD is great’ logo which you cannot skip is now gone for good.”
Now, the AnyDVD HD 6.1.2.1 is out in beta. and, “Changes,” posts James today.
- Added AnyDVD HD ripper
- Some cosmetic changes
- Added German translation
Things just don’t seem to be working out for the cartels. Sigh. For now, SlySoft doesn’t say anything about Blu-Ray.
