Apple delays iTV launch
p2pnet.net news:- Apple isn’t saying why it’s holding back the launch of its box for streaming video and other content from computers to TVs.
The idea is people will pay $300 for the iTV device so they can then pay $10 and up to play movies they can rent for a couple of dollars from the local video store, and without the download hassle.
It was supposed to have been available this month but, “Wrapping up Apple TV is taking a few weeks longer than we projected, and we now expect to begin shipments mid-March,” Apple spokeswoman Lynn Fox says, according to USA Today.
