Intel loses emails
p2pnet.net news:- Intel says it may have “lost” a number of internal emails it’s supposed to produce for Advanced Micro Devices and other plaintiffs in, “high-profile antitrust litigation,” says The Wall Street Journal.
“The disclosure – which could further complicate AMD’s antitrust suit against Intel – comes as AMD warned that it expects to miss its first-quarter revenue target amid an intensifying battle with Intel, its far larger competitor,” says the story.
“An Intel spokesman said it couldn’t yet estimate the number of missing emails, expressing optimism that it will be able to recover most of them.”
