Iguanas and the RIAA

p2pnet.net news:- We had several emails pointing to this Bill Amend cartoon. Heh. Say no more ;)

>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Amend also has a thing or 10 to say about Microsoft but, "Hey, he started it!" he says on his web site, going on:

"You may have wondered why it is I so cruelly and heartlessly beat upon Microsoft occasionally in my strip, and by linking to obnoxious things like this and this and this and this and this and (just added!) this and this and for those with fast connections this creative gem…"

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!

One Response to “Iguanas and the RIAA”

  1. Reader's Write Says:

What is also wrong here is they are also suing people they knew stole nothing from them. They are filing a false complaint before the court stating under oath that they are telling the truth. Once they get it into court, they then try and extract money from the innocent person. What is worse, the courts know that some of these people are targeted for nothing more then to take there money. WE have the problem here which existed years ago where government took money from the people and resulted in the Boston Tea Party. Make no mistake, the courts are government and they are assisting big money in taking money from people they know are innocent. All to profit on the bottom line. If you think I am wrong, write to the judge in any of these cases and explain the fraud that is going on. You will receive no reply to your letter and the judge will do nothing to stoip a fraud in progress.
