Walkman phone – with speakers
p2pnet.net news:- Sony Ericsson has come out with a neat new Walkman phone – with Snap-on speakers for out-loud listening.
Not a bad idea for when you’re by yourself, especially given the increasing emphasis on the damage too-loud music on head-phones and/or buds can cause to users’ hearing.
The W660 also features TrackID able to identify music you don’t recognise by recording a few seconds of it either via the microphone or by tagging a clip straight from the phone’s FM Radio, says the company.
“The W660 Walkman phone can store up to 470 full-length songs (in eAAC+ format) on the 512MB Memory Stick Micro supplied,” says Sony Ericsson.
It also deliver RSS feeds to the phone’s desktop and incoludes a packs a 2.0 megapixel camera and Picture Blogging capability, as well as Bluetooth.
“The W660 Walkman phone is a UMTS 2100 and GPRS 900/1800/1900 device and will be available in selected markets from Q2 2007,” it states, adding, “The Snap-On Speakers, MPS-75, will be available globally from Q2 2007.”What about the speakers?
