Apple’s very expensive iPhone will attract the usual crowd, but even they’re becoming jaundiced and in IOHO, Google is the one company that could successfully offer a serious threat to the established cellphone firms. Because like it or not Google rulz, and its grip on John and Joan public is growing stronger as it offers up one gewgaw after another.
It’s almost a given that Google will enter the fray and now the world media are picking up the story.
Noticias.com first gave voice to a statement rather than repeating a rumour, and “Andy Rubin has a team of about 100 people at Google working on the Google Phone,” said Simeon Simeonov, as p2pnet pointed out last week.
“So people have been paying attention. Andy was the founder of Danger and later Android, which he sold to Google in August of 2005. Andy is a systems guy and so it’s a good bet that he’s working on an OS for the famed Google Phone.”
