Phil Spector murder trial starts
p2pnet.net news:- “According to legend, Spector once forced Dee Dee Ramone to play bass guitar at gunpoint; he once let off a gun in the studio while recording John Lennon’s album Rock ‘n’ Roll; and he once showed his wife a gold, glass-topped coffin in his basement, and told her that she would die there if she ever left him for a member of the Rolling Stones.”
So says The Times Online of Phil Spector, 66, who says he didn’t shoot and kill B movie actress Lana Clarkson.
Spector produced the last Beatles album, Let It Be, and also worked with John Lennon on Imagine, said p2pnet.
Now, his murder trial begins today in Los Angeles with the jury selection and the whole show will be on TV when the opening statements begin next month, says the Times story.
The coroner’s office, “called it a homicide – ‘death by the hand of another’ – but also noted that Clarkson had gunshot residue on both of her hands and may have pulled the trigger,” according to The Chicago Sun-Times, adding:
“In an e-mail to friends, Spector called the death ‘an accidental suicide’.”
The prosecution says Spector, “placed a gun in Clarkson’s mouth and pulled the trigger,” adds the story. “Prosecutors claimed he had threatened women with guns in the past but had never been charged.”
Spector faces life in prison if he’s found guilty.

Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Just another pathetic case of the lifestyles of the opulent and the eccentric.
Phil Spector is simply a has been just like Robert Blake the hapless actor who killed his bitch wife in which he eventually got acquitted from.
Really convenient.
Shoot the bitch.
Same situation with O.J. Simpson and his slut wife.
His wife used the man for everything he had.
The real deal was when Photos of Nicole with known criminals of the drug trade in a hot tub and on a bed were shown on the news.
Simpson said he was upset when he saw his children associated with the drug scene with which Nicole had apparently become involved.
Quess what…………
Juries don’t like convicting famous people and rich celebrities.
Ole’ Phil could be guilty as sin but he will probably get aquitted iv criminial court but will probably get successfully sued in civil court by the deceased (murdered victim’s) family.
