Google 1st, then the world!
p2pnet.net news:- First Google, then the world.
That may be Viacom’s policy following its $1 billion attack on Google, described by The Economist as “only the continuation of negotiations by other means”.
German magazine Focus says Viacom is also thinking about suing such video web sites as MyVideo and Clipfish for alleged violations of copyright.
“We will be taking a look at every web site anywhere in the world that violates our copyrights,” a Viacom spokesperson told the magazine, says Heise Online.
The news will make a lot of lawyers happy.

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!
