XBox goes QWERTY
p2pnet.net news:- With the apparent impeneding arrival of a QWERTY keyboard, Microsoft’s XBox is going to look more like a computer than a game machine.
“Over the weekend, Gamespot revealed the features of the upcoming Xbox 360 spring dashboard update through a video preview and now they accidentally posted the first images and info of the much-rumored QWERTY keyboard controller attachment,” says TeamXbox.
“Before they realized of such mistake, the content of that article was saved and posted in several boards.”
The keyoard will plug onto the bottom of the Xbox 360 controller, in the headset jack, and it has a replicated port so you can still connect your wired Xbox 360 headset, says the story.
And as it observes, it’ll come in handy for Microsoft’s new Windows Live Messenger features that will debut with the Xbox 360 spring dashboard update.”
On that, Bill and the Boyz said as of Saturday, they’d provide Xbox 360 owners worldwide with access to Windows Live Messenger features so they can use Windows Live Messenger to text chat with up to six people on their contact list at one time, while playing games, listening to music or watching movies. “Current relationships on Windows Live Messenger and Xbox LIVE will be unified on Xbox 360 and users will see at a glance if their existing friends on Windows Live Messenger have gamertags,,” says Microsoft.
