		<description>I thought laws were supposed to be designed for the benefit of the general public, not a single industry? yet, this is what we find to be the case.

I&#039;m really starting to question the functional relevance of the current government structures/systems. 

Maybe it is time to design a new style of government, one where the people have greater input into the decision making process. One which prevents any single party/person from possessing absolute power. The current structure obviously isn&#039;t working, Bills/Motions/Legislation is simply determined by the higher bidder, which invariably is big business with their corporate mandates. This of course bears little resemblance to the requirements of the general populous.</description>
