Metallica can keep her name
p2pnet.net T news:- Baby Metallica Tomaro gets to keep her name.
“It feels good,” Metallica’s mother told said, quoted by The Local.
At the beginning of the month Metallica’s mum and dad, who live in western Sweden, “ran into trouble when they tried to actually register the name“.
The tax board can veto a name if it so chooses. And that’s what it did with baby Tomaro, only seven months old.
Sweden already has one child named Metallica, but that was “irrelevant,” ruled the board, and, “the decision to authorize the name may have stemmed from a simple oversight on their part”.
The girl’s mother, Karolina Tomaro, “took the case to the County Court, where she secured a victory over the tax authority. Officials then vowed to appeal the decision,” says The Local, adding:
“On Thursday, however, the tax board said it was dropping its appeal, allowing young Metallica to keep her name.”

Maybe there’s something to be said for protecting children from their parents, at least in the extreme
