25 Apple security holes

p2pnet.net news:- Didn’t one of those hugely intrusive online Apple videos add brag about how safe Apple is?

The company has released a batch of a security fixes for Mac OS X which it says address no less than 25 security flaws.

And speaking of security holes, “Apple’s patch release comes just as hackers at the CanSecWest security conference in Vancouver, BC, are being challenged to break into two MacBooks,” says CNET News.

“A successful hack wins the hacker the MacBook and a $10,000 bounty, according to show organisers.”

The contest and conference ends today.

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!

You bashing on Apple is getting old. Just because there are holes doesn’t mean they have been executed. In fact very few holes have been executed.

Windows XP, on the other hand (can’t say anything about Vista yet), had a number of problems.
