p2pnet.net news:- New Jersey freeform radio station WFMU, broadcasting at 91.1 fm in the New York City area, at 90.1 fm in the Hudson Valley, is looking for someone with background in online media and non-commercial radio to develop and oversee WFMU’s Free Music Archive, an online music library licensed for free non-commercial use.
The Podsafe Music Library Director will oversee the acquisition and licensing of material and will maintain relationships with the Archive’s partners. Candidates must have a strong understanding of web technologies, copyright, music licensing and online music.
He or she must be extremely knowledgeable about a variety of music, have good writing and organizational skills and be able to supervise staff. A complete job description is at: www.wfmu.org/pmld.html .
