Mini iPod upgrades – for FREE!
p2pnet.net News:- Check this out.
iPod minis are sellng like hot cakes and, reports Apple gleefully, demand is outstripping supply.
But at least one Apple customer has reason to be glad that instead if listening happily, he’s still awaiting delivery.
"I got an email tonight from apple explaining that my already 3 week delayed iPod mini has been delayed another 3 weeks," writes zcummins on MacSlash here.
But is he complaining? Nope.
"This time there is a catch," says zcummins, "I can trade my mini order in for a 15 Gb regular iPod for no extra charge! Props to apple for making such an in-demand product, but they sure missed the demand curve on this one. Here is the body of the email:
The demand for the iPod mini has been incredible. We are shipping them as quickly as possible, but we cannot meet the ship date we previously estimated for you. We now expect to ship your iPod mini in three weeks. If we do not hear from you prior to shipment, we will assume the revised date is acceptable, and will ship your order. We apologize for any inconvenience. Your business is very important. If you would like an iPod sooner, we are offering to replace your iPod mini with a 15GB iPod at no additional charge. This model usually ships within 24 hours.
We wonder how may other people had the same offer?
