Motherboards on Intel 3 chipsets
p2pnet.net news:- Foxconn subsidiary Hongfujin Precision Industry Shenzhen Company brought what was said to be China’s first significant defamation case against two reporters after stories appeared in the Western media saying young women factory workers were labouring under appalling conditions.
Foxcomm makes Apple’s iPod music players. But the controversy doesn’t appear to have caused any serious harm to the company, which has just announced its first motherboards based on the new Intel 3 Series chipsets.
“The boards are based around Intel’s P35 chipset for Core2 Quad and Core2 Duo chippery, with support for FSB speeds of up to 1333MHz and built-in future proofing for upcoming 45nm processors,” says The Inquirer, adding:
“Foxconn says the P35A-S and P35A motherboards promise better all-round system performance thanks to its use of decent capacitors rather than some of the bubbly ones that have been knocking about over recent years.”
It hasn’t given any clues on on pricing, adds the story.
