NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, says it’s one of North America’s first art schools. 12345 Wallpaper, 1999-2000 (on the right) is “hand screen wallpaper, unlimited edition” created as a part of the NSCAD wallpaper series which includes work by former instructors and alumni including David Askevold, John Baldesarri, Katie Bush, Gerald Ferguson, John Greer, Garry Neil Kennedy, Sally Mackay, Jan Peacock, Lucy Pullen, Monica Tap & Lawrence Weiner,” says the ‘Kelly Mark: 12345 Wallpaper’ web site.

There’s not much happening with 12345 as a domain name, but 1 2 3 4 5 comes up, “whenever somebody is asked to configure a port number,” says this iss.net post. “It is likewise chosen by programmers when creating default port numbers for their products.”
12345===============
Or as ZDNet states, “Increased activity on TCP port 12345 - best known as both the NetBus Trojan’s default port and the port used for a Trend Micro antivirus product - has the security community arguing about who is responsible. Is it Trend Micro customers who have yet to patch known vulnerabilities, script kiddies looking for an easy hit, or an Internet X-file?”

That’s a line from The Project Gutenberg EBook of Friday, the Thirteenth, by Thomas W. Lawson. It’s filed, of course, as item 12345.

Bug 12345 on Bugzilla@Mozilla was “[DOGFOOD] Unable to Forward a message received as an Inline page or an attachment.”

And there have to be musical connections. Right?

Lots. The Way Back Machine delivers a clip from Sanji vs Jyabura.avi. The full video (right) is on YouTube.
12345===============And there’s Australian band Killing Heidi with 1 2 3 4 5 >>>>>>

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. “12345 Wallpaper, 1999-2000 (on the right) is “hand screen wallpaper, unlimited edition”
Why would an art school work for the destruction of art by publishing such ?
Is the public somehow paying for this “artless art”?
Is the “artless art” copyrighted?
As a bonus I will include my latest work of art, 5-4-3-2-1:

That lousy advise, as that would be a soon to be criminal act, copyright infringement worth $150,000, because the infringement was intentional.

If that were so, 99% of photograph, 98% of (c)rap music, 97% of abstract paintings would not qualify for copyright.
No, whos’s to tell what is “creative” and therefore in copyright?
Apparently the 12345 is considered creative by an art univesity. Is that art creative?
BTW, I just painted my house in a very creative way (100 % pink ). Do I have a copyright so that no one, even from the other side of the world, can paint their house as I have painted mine, pink, without comitting copyright infringement?
Food for thought.
