I remember when those episodes hit the web. Someone came across the dvds of the first 4 episodes a week before they were to be aired on tv and sold as a 4 ep dvd the day after air date. Someone wanted a copy and the easiest way to transfer it was by torrent. The name was named something basic and was uploaded in the "other" section, but along came a mod found out what it really was and change the title and put it in the tv section. lol.

Well it was faster to transfer when thousands of others hop on the torrent. I just cant see why people would take it and upload it to another site.

I would rather see the feds looking out for the security of The US instead of tracking down people who download something then upload it somewhere else......or are they gonna start saying pirated dvds and music piracy are controlled by terrorists? I know they like saying the gangs and mob profit off of pirated movies, music software,

The F.B.I. will only look into cases where damages are $5000 or over, so they claim. I don't see how uploading a n episode of "24" even comes to that much. Now if some old lady is conned out of 15,000 of her savings, good luck into getting the FBI to look into that. The most most dangerous enemy that the people of the United States faces is the government of the United States!

This is a joke. The only reason why the FBI went after this guy is because he was stupid enough to provide LiveDigital with his real name upon signing up, and probably didn't use a proxy to upload these episodes. The FBI only goes after easy targets, despite what they may say.
