Well if you use NEWSGROUPS you are MUCH safer than even private BT sites!

Ask the people who ran Loki torrents or Elite torrents and you will see what I mean.

Private Bit Torrent sites are only marginally safer than public BT sites. And the feds DO go after them from time to time.

If you only leech with newsgroups though, no one to date has EVER been sued for just leeching off of newsgroups.
