UK ‘pay or be named’ site
p2pnet.net OT news:- Britain is thinking about adopting a policy already being used by some American states to force “absent parents” to honour child support payments.
“Letters will go out to about 100 single parents, mostly mothers, asking if they want to give the go-ahead for the name of the evading parent to go online,” says Reuters.
The idea is, “just one of many the government has announced as it prepares to replace the Child Support Agency next year with the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission after 13 years of computer problems and missed payments totaling up to $7 billion (3.5 billion pounds),” says the story.
US states such as Mississippi, Virginia, Washington and Illinois, “already shout out such parents online,” it states, adding:
“Other measures planned under the U.K.’s Child Maintenance and Other Payments Bill include the removal of passports and the imposition of curfews on those who refuse to pay child support.”

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!

You can’t name peadophiles but can name someone refusing to pay child support.
I would like to say that this will soon be shot down but the UK courts hate fathers in custody battles. A mother can refuse to allow the father any access to the child, even after a court rules she must, and no action will be taken to enforce the court order.

This is true. What happened to America. Wait, I know. This apparently is the answer to our national debt problem. Make good, loving, skillful, caring hardworking fathers pay into a system that places money into the hands of women who are being taken advantage of. Men protect your wives before the courts get to them.
