Paris Hilton’s jailhouse blues

p2pnet.net OT news:- Paris Hilton is back in jail but nonetheless, she’s still causing upsets - or, rather, her parent are.

She was briefly released under house arrest, but was taken back to jail after a storm of complaints.

Mum and dad Hilton showed up at the Los Angeles nick but unlike everyone else in the visitor lineup, they were shepherded to the head of the line, raising, “new complaints that the heiress is receiving special treatment,” says Associated Press.

That’s them on the right in this clip from Nick Ut’s AP photo.

Shatani Alverson, 23, “said she was hustled out of the jail’s visiting room moments after her husband walked in because of the Hiltons,” says AP. “She was told to come back after lunch.”

Los Angeles Countysheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said it’s, “routine for high-profile inmates to receive visitors during lunch, a time when the visiting room is normally cleared out and closed,” according to the item.

Meanwhile, Hilton is reportedly refusing to eat most of most of the food she’s being offered.

“The Los Angeles County jail is no Ritz-Carlton, to be sure, ” says the San Francisco Chronicle. “It’s not even the Hilton. But contrary to popular belief, food fare in the slammer these days is far from gruel and water. In fact, a whole set of regulations requires meals not only be nourishing but also look good on the plate.”

Whitmore says he’s been eating a lot of meals, “from the socialite’s new home - the downtown Twin Towers jail,” says the story.

“I think they’re really good,” it has Whitmore, “who particularly savors the bologna sandwiches,” stating.

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!

This is a NON-story, Jon. When “nobody’s” do the same thing that she did they get the book thrown at them. SHE gets preferential treatment and BODYGUARDS while in jail. So she doesn’t like the food? So WHAT? She did the crime, she needs to do her time; just like anyone ELSE!

Not only that, but how many of us would be given 2nd and 3rd chances without a valid license when we lost it for dui in the first place?

I don’t give a flying f*ck what happens to the little b*tch. She’s been treated extra nice from the getgo. I’m glad the judge put her happy ass back in jail. I’d have the sheriff who let her out brought up on contempt charges, myself.
