Gatwick Airport’s naked pole dancer
p2pnet.net OT news:- The giant outline of a pole dancer in a field on the flight path to Britain’s Gatwick Airport has angered the local Tandridge District Council whose members are demanding that the image be deleted.
The council says it was painted without proper permission, says The Sun, going on that spokeswoman Giuseppina Valenza says legal action will be taken if the nude pic isn’t removed.
Sports Media Gaming is behind the ad and The Sun has director Stephen Pearson promising, “We”re not going to remove it at all.”
Nor is the first time, says the story, adding:
“In 2005, an ad for Lynx deodorant featuring a man fondling two naked women was washed off a nearby field after Unilever PLC decided to pull it, Pearson said.”

And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!
