A2IM: unanswered questions

p2pnet.net news:- Sorry. We’ve temporarily taken this story offline.

We’ll be replacing it with an update dealing with responses from A2IM (American Association of Independent Music) boss Rich Bengloff to interesting in the (Confucian sense) questions from well-known entertainment lawyer and p2pnet commentator Fred Wilhelms.

The subject?

The fact A2IM is, “among corporate music groups, including the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada, which are in lockstep behind ex-RIAA unit SoundExchange, which is in turn right behind the Copyright Royalty Board’s decision to boost royalty fees for 2006-2010 paid by Net radio stations for streaming music,” as we said in the first post.

Stay tuned.

Cheers! And thanks …..

Slashdot Slashdot it!

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!
