Net paedophile ring broken up
p2pnet.net news:- A massive international police operation has resulted in more than 700 people being identified as members of a world-wide paedophile ring, hosted in England.
Investigators infiltrated a Net chat room called Kids the Light of Our Lives, rescuing 31 children, say reports
The chat also featured live videos of children being subjected to sexual abuse, Associated Press has Jim Gamble, ceo of Britain’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center, stating.
“More than 15 of the children were found in Britain, Gamble said, declining to give further details,” according to AP, which went on, “An official in Canada said authorities there arrested 24 Canadians and rescued seven children as part of the investigation. Four people have been arrested in Australia, including one who was previously convicted of child pornography charges, officials said today.”
It wasn’t made clear whether or not any of the abused children had been reported missing.
Convicted of possessing and distributing indecent images, Timothy David Martyn Cox, 27, of Buxhall, England, who hosted Light of Our Lives, was sentenced to an indeterminate period in jail.
This means he won’t be released until, “authorities determine he is no longer a threat to children,” says the CBC, continuing:
“Cox, who used the online identity Son of God, ran the website from his bedroom from a large farmhouse where he lived with his parents and sister.
“After his arrest in September 2006, he admitted to nine counts of possessing and distributing indecent images, authorities said. Police found 75,960 indecent and explicit images on Cox’s computer.
“Police, including officers from the Toronto police’s sex crimes unit, were able to infiltrate the website’s chat room and collect evidence on other members.”
Another man who according to police ran the site after Cox’s arrest, “has pleaded guilty to 27 charges of making, possessing and distributing indecent images and videos,” says the CBC, adding:
“Gordon Mackintosh, 33, hasn’t been sentenced.”

It’s just too bad these kind only perpetuate the Sexual Predator Hysteria that constantly pervades the mainstream news media who NEVER make the disinction between _*REAL*_ sickos such as these and teens who _*WILLINGLY*_ have sex with each other and those older than themselves!
