Pentagon email hack attack
p2pnet.net news:- As many years 1,500 Pentagon email accounts were compromised after a hacker penetrated the system, says ComputerWeekly.
“A spokesman for the Pentagon said the e-mail system did not contain top-secret information relating to military operations, but would not confirm if the hacker was able to read e-mails,” says the story.
“According to officials, the attack could have originated from a variety of sources including casual hackers, cyber vigilantes and ideological groups or possibly nation states.”
