Vexatious Weblish words
p2pnet.net OT news:- What’s the most annoying word created by Netizens, those of us who populate what’s now known as the Blogosphere?
It’s ‘Folksonomy,’ according to a YouGov poll under which some 2,000 Websters voted for their least favourite Net word.
The second most irritating word was Blogosphere.
And the third most vexatious Weblish word?
Blog.
The survey was generated to in honour of the 10th anniversary of the phrase ‘web-log,’ better known today as ‘blog’.
Who wanted to know?
The Lulu Blooker Prize, a literary award for blooks (another most-hated webword) or, books based on blogs or other websites, including webcomics.
Other infuriating terms were wiki, avatar, nettiquette and social networking.

And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance.
