Alan Johnston bomb belt video
p2pnet.net OT news:- Kidnapped BBC journalist Alan Johnston wearing what seems to be a bomb belt has appeared on a web page known for showing terrorist videos.
Made by the Army of Islam, which claims responsibility for abducting Johnston, the video says he’ll be killed if rescuers try to “free him by force,” says Press Association.
Johnston was grabbed on a Gaza City street on March 12.
“It was not known when the video was made,” says the story, adding:
“Deposed Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas referred to it in a two-hour speech yesterday in Gaza City, but it was not posted to the website until early today.”
“Captors tell me that very promising negotiations were ruined when the Hamas movement and the British government decided to press for a military solution to this kidnapping,” Johnston says, “looking nervous and under stress,” says Associated Press.
“And the situation is now very serious, as you can see,” he states.
