Texas killer didn’t die laughing
p2pnet.net OT news:- In the end, it wasn’t funny. But then, legally sanctioned murder never is.
Patrick Knight, 39, executed in Texas, yesterday, said on his MySpace web page that he wanted to die with a joke on his lips, asking people to, “keep me and the others with dates, laughing”.
“Nine minutes later at 6:21 p.m. CDT, he was pronounced dead,” says Associated Press, going on:
“After expressing love to some friends, he said, ‘I said I was going to tell a joke. Death has set me free. That’s the biggest joke. I deserve this’.”
Knight was sentenced to death for fatally shooting Walter Werner, 58, and his wife, Mary Ann, in August 1991.

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!

Legally-sanction murder? Give me a break. It’s not murder when you kill a killer–it’s justice, no matter how you slice it. You’re a simple fool if you think otherwise. Of course, you’re likely all for killing actual innocents, aren’t you? No worries–we know your type. . .

Yup, I’m with you, buddy.
Typical do-gooder attitude. Never mind the victim, never mind their family and friends, lets make sure the perpeprator gets treated like royalty! <gag>

If you are, the joke is a bit thin, if not, you’re the simple fool, and yes, your type is known to US as well… “Sanctity of life” self righteously spewed from one side of your mouth, and “Capital punishment is not murder, it’s justice” hissed out of the other. You can’t have it both ways. Killing another human is either murder or it’s not. Choose or STFU.
June 27th, 2007 at 2:59 pm
Why don’y YOU STFU? You are an IDIOT! Plain and simple! If you cannot see that justice is served when a murderer is given the sentance he DESERVES, THAT’S RIGHT…I SAID DESERVES, then you have more problems than just bad judgement.
Talk about being a fool? You could be a poster child for one.
You are obviously the TROLL!

I don’t have a problem with capital punishment. I never said I did. Just call it what it is, killing another human. Oh, and I have it on good authority that the fool poster child position is already filled.
June 28th, 2007 at 12:14 am
You are a fool if you believe that it is WRONG to kill a person that has ALREADY KILLED! And the poster child of a fool is already filled by you.

so… its not alright for him to kill somebody (Who i’m sure has done SOMETHING wrong in their lives), however - for the US to Kill him. “Oh… Thats fine”.
your an idiot…
