Guywiththeglasses: the movie
p2pnet.net news:- Guywiththeglasses had a brilliant idea. Reduce Hollywood feature movies to their appropriate length, namely five seconds.
He ran his series on YouTube but, Robert Chapin tells p2pnet, “They deleted EVERYTHING including his video blogs.”
Why? Like you didn’t know.
But you can’t keep a good man down and in a 6.3 minute feature-length GooTube movie with senator Joe McCarthy asking the questions, Guywiththeglasses tells all, with colourful comments.
WARNING: If this was being shown at your local cinema, it’d be rated LOFAB (Lots of Effing and Blinding).
Left or right click (depending on which handed you are : ) and ‘Save Link As’ for a download of the GWG versions of Jurassic Park, Star Wars and Braveheart. You’ll get a taste of what GooTube and Time Warner, Viacom, Fox, Sony, NBC Universal and Disney want you to miss.
You’ll need Martijn de Visser’s FLV Player to watch them. If you don’t already have one, click here.
If your Net access is blocked by government restrictions, try Psiphon from the Citizen Lab at the University of Toronto’s Munk Centre for International Studies. Go here for the official download, and here for details. And if you’re Chinese and you’re looking for a way to access independent Internet news sources, try Freegate, the DIT program written to help Chinese citizens circumvent web site blocking outside of China. Download it here.

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!

No biggie Jon but must you edit online? Wouldn’t it be better to finish the stories off before you post them instead of after?

he should sue (not often i use those words) as 5 seconds is clear fair use for parody.
