Wii hammers PS3, Xbox 360

p2pnet news | Games:- Nintendo’s Wii is giving Sony and Microsoft a hammering in Japan.

There, Wii outsold PlayStation 3 6 to 1 in June, also leaving Xbox 360 in the sidelines.

Nintendo sold 270,974 units versus Sony’s 41,628, with Microsoft even worse off with a paltry 17,616 Xbox 360s sold, says GameInformer.

Is a price cut for PS3 looming in Japan? – it wonders.

Before the PlayStation 3 even launched Nintendo was already dominant in Japan, “thanks to the broad appeal of the DS,” says Kikizo. “The arrival of the Wii has only cemented Nintendo’s domination.”

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!
