New control modes for EA wii
p2pnet news | games:- Electronic Arts has launched two new control modes for future Wii sports games.
“Family Play” offers simplified control for casual gamers while “Advanced” is for experienced gamers, says Digital Arts.
Introduced in Wii versions of Madden NFL 08, NBA LIVE 08 and FIFA Soccer 08, EA SPORTS, “Family Play is a new way to play that enables players of all abilities to play with their friends and family without a competitive disadvantage,” explains Gamefreaks365.
In Advanced, “users take complete control of all aspects of the gameplay through intuitive Wii gestures using both the Nunchuck and Wii remote,” continues the story, quoting EA’s Dave McCarthy as saying with Family Play, sans the nunchuck, “novice players can have just as much fun jumping in to throw a touchdown pass, nail a three pointer or take a shot on goal.”

Tired of being treated like a criminal? They depend on you, not the other way around. Don’t buy their ‘product’. Do bug your local politicians. Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance. Don’t just complain. Do something!

…and that is exactly why it sells in such numbers. I don’t have any game system and would describe myself as a habitual gamer but if I was to buy a game station it would be the Wii as it offers something totally different. Whereas the Xbox360 and PS3 just offer more of the same.
