AllofMP3.com: still truckin’

p2pnet news | p2p:- AllofMP3.com watcher Fred Reichert who, at the beginning of the year, correctly predicted the demise of the Russian music site so hated and reviled by both the entertainment cartels and the Bush administration, checks in from Holland.

Who left the back door open? – he’s wondering.

AllofMP3.com may be gone, but its memory does a lot more than merely linger on >>>>

The Russian authorities will be more than pleased when they read all the news about shutting down Allofmp3 and its intended successor, MP3Sparks.

Did they really have something to do with this? If so, why did Allfomp3 leave the back door to their servers open?

The Allfomp3 FAQ at Museekster.com reports the Alltunes application is still working as before. Alltunes is a ‘third party’ download manager for the now defunct Allofmp3 website.

As soon as you have Alltunes installed, you can still order and download music using your Allofmp3 login, pass and, of course, your existing Allofmp3 balance.

Even the unsurpassed online encoding Allofmp3 servers which enable you to get your music in just about any format and bitrate still deliver.

And if you’re lucky, you can even fund your account with a Master Card, although for some mysterious reason it doesn’t work for all accounts. Some users get a link to Chronopay as payment processor, but that link is dead. Users who get a link to eCentru for handling the payment are the lucky ones. They’ll be able to get more credit to continue downloading.

Another thing that makes action by Russian authorities unlikely is the fact all the other Russian MP3 sites remain untouched and new sites are even popping up all over like vultures trying to rip the carcass of the supposed deceased Allofmp3.

Songboom.com has a list of Allofmp3 alternatives and reviews of these sites. A concise list of alternative services is available at AOMshops.

Too bad none of these services is able to deliver quality files like Allofmp3.

Definitely stay tuned.

The site has moved to .RU

Allofmp3.com has been relocated to it’s native RUssian domain name, allofmp3.ru.

You may login and continue to use the service as before, just go to allofmp3.ru.

    go to allofmp3.ru to login

Nothing said above seems to work. Ecentru & chronopay do not work either.

MP3Sparks works fine for me. They transferred my previous account from allofmp3 including my balance, and I can refill my balance via eCentru and my VISA card.
