Latest Harry Potter online
p2pnet news | p2p:- Is anyone still interested in the Harry Potter books? My family lost interest after the second one ![]()

Anyhow, they’re definitely a cut above the average kid’s book from all kinds of points of view, the fact they’re just as popular with adults as they are with children underscoring the point.
Alleged copies started showing up online almost as soon as their popularity had been firmly established and there’s been a fairly constant supply of scans online, a reality which doesn’t seem to have made any impression whatsoever on the sale of the books.
Nor has the equally undeniable fact at the Potter movies have been appearing on the P2P networks made a dent in their popularity ofline.
We’ve had several emails pointing us to a site with a .pdf download of someone leafing through the current Deathly Hallows, page by page. Our most recent email arrived from Germany a short while ago.
As Torrentfreak posts, a torrent with photographs of each page of the American edition is on multiple BitTorrent sites. “We first got wind of this when two torrents of the book appeared on Demonoid.com,” he says, going on:

“They became immensely popular with over a 1000 leechers and seeders each. But after some time were removed by either the uploader, or more likely, the moderators, in a move to avoid the attention of bloodthirsty publishers.
“Not surprisingly, both those torrents spread over to mininova and several other sites and are still going strong (update: mininova removed the torrents). One of the torrents only has the first 495 pages of the book, whereas the second is the complete book.”
Meanwhile, the jacket art (top right) is from the UK Bloomsbury edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, “retrieved from the-leaky-cauldron.org,” says a Wikipedia post, going on:
“Cover art by Jason Cockcroft © 2007 Bloomsbury Publishing Plc. Harry Potter, names, characters and related indica are copyright and trademark Warner Bros.
This image, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (joneboi) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because the use of a single cover “to illustrate an article discussing the book in question” is allowed. Absent of an official “series cover,” it logically follows that this single cover used in conjunction with its fellows to illustrate an article on the series to which they all belong is allowable.

Lies all lies. Don’t believe it. I won’t give away the ending, but I can ASSURE you, that the above comment is not true in any sense or form. All 3 are quite fine. No spoilers here about all the other characters, but don’t believe the above rubbish either.

Book 8 goes all PC apparently - Harry moves in with a vegetarian welder called Dave and enjoys a same gender relationship for several months before a spell cast by the evil Moldysnort converts him to islam. After a few weeks as an imam in birmingham he goes on a pilgrimage to mecca where he is trampled by elephants, bitten by an accursed cobra, and gets an infestation of lice in his newly grown beard.
All ends well though. Spoilers are to be avoided, but harries friend hernia scablock finds him and removes the curse with some magic bug spray and the furry cup of fire. Hurrah. The last sight the reader has of Harry is at an MPAA convention, looking an absolute wreck, telling all who will listen how intellectual property theft ruined his life. Hurrah.

Not true. It’s Monty, not Dave, and he’s a record label executive, not a welder, although it’s easy to see how you made the mistake.
