to use, copy, modify, adapt, translate, publicly perform, digitally perform

COMMENTS

- The word use can mean anything, including use in a commercial without paying the $10,000 or $25,000, or whatever that may normally be paid for the use of a song in a commercial.

- The words copy, adapt, translate cannot apply to the performance of music. These words can only apply for making copies which could be sold. Makes no sense for a radio station to want copy rights unless they want to produce recording for sale. For example, adapt could mean to adapt for an ad.

The next thing will be ads with the music an artist gave away for nothing or peanuts, sucha as a performance fee.

And they wanted all of this fro free to begin with?
And now they want it for a performance fee?
Incredible.

The assault on artist/songwriters continues.
