With all the antics going on in Washington today, I'm about ready to chunk both parties and vote indepentent.

Bush is going hog wild with claims nothing is fishy in his political dealings while at the same time denying access to the very records and people that would prove it. His appetite for smashing citizen privacy and rights in his campaign to fight terrorism has reached an absured level as it is the citizens he is spying on not terrorists.

The idea that there is nothing wrong with getting AT&T to spy on it's customers without so much as paying lip service to the legal side saying it is all legal and yet at the same time having a bill forwarded to let AT&T off the hook for illegal activities can't be both right. In my mind if there is smoke there is a fire somewhere and right now the smoke looks like a nation sized smoke screen.

Democrats were put in office to bring the troops home. They've not even addressed that yet and seem to be stalling, hoping the circus of pressing for the attorneygate evidence will satifisy the people. So far their public ratings give them no break we are falling for it. I see no action other then stagemanship and that isn't cutting it.

Since there is no satisfaction from either major party, there will be no satisfaction for them when it comes voting time. I do hope they don't think my memory is so short as to be unable to remember this next year.
