		<description>One could argue that if you want all these sub company's to act completely independent. Then the same should apply to all industries but if for example Sony/panasonic did not make special deals with or look after the interests of the smaller sub company's then most if not electronics they sell would be much more expensive as each set of management would be after maximizing there profits driving the cost of assembling a TV etc. up.  

the real issue you should be raising is whether by the big 4 working together sharing resources etc. they gain more than 50% market share which (in the uk) would be against competition laws. but then again you always state that I-tunes is like a drop in the ocean compared to the independent market so a 50% share is unlikely.</description>
