		<description>One could argue that if you want all these sub company&#039;s to act completely independent. Then the same should apply to all industries but if for example Sony/panasonic did not make special deals with or look after the interests of the smaller sub company&#039;s then most if not electronics they sell would be much more expensive as each set of management would be after maximizing there profits driving the cost of assembling a TV etc. up.  

the real issue you should be raising is whether by the big 4 working together sharing resources etc. they gain more than 50% market share which (in the uk) would be against competition laws. but then again you always state that I-tunes is like a drop in the ocean compared to the independent market so a 50% share is unlikely.</description>
